The Starlite Foundation is the social work of the Starlite platform, whose mission is to offer real opportunities for development, training and inclusion to those people, families and communities that need it most. To achieve this, they have the support of important businessmen, personalities and artists with a solid social commitment, who make their fame, influence and media power available to actively help the Foundation and its charitable projects.
Starlite Foundation was create by Sandra Garcia- Sanjuan y Antonio Banderas.
Many celebrities have supported the Statlite Foundation, such as Sofia Loren, Alain Delon, Paz Vega, Nieves Álvarez, Genoveva Casanova , Marta Sánchez, Carlos Slim, Agata Ruiz De La Prada, Cayetano Riviera, Sarah Ferguson, Valeria Mazza, Deepak Chopra.
The Starlite Foundation holds the Starlite Gala every year as part of the Starlite Catalana Occidente Festival, a philanthropic evening whose aim is to raise funds to make the Foundation’s charitable projects a reality. The Starlite Gala is traditionally hosted by Antonio Banderas and Sandra García-Sanjuán, president of the Foundation.
Luis Fonsi, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Domingo Zapata, Rosana and Esther Cañadas, were the other Starlite Gala 2023 winners.
